Medial coracoclavicular, Conoid, and trapezoid ligaments are the 3 coracoclavicular ligaments.

The conoid ligament and the trapezoid ligament are 2 extra-articular ligaments that help to stabilize the acromioclavicular joint.

The trapezoid lig. attaches to the coracoid process, but is superficial/anterior to the conoid ligament. The trapezoid lig. runs superolaterally to insert on the clavicle, anterolaterally to the conoid tubercle.

Function

The trapezoid lig functions to limit the closing angle between the clavicle and scapula.
